This Adirondack is not cheap, but it is also not the most expensive option on the market. In particular, I'd say this chair provides a lot of value for the consumer's dime only reason it's so cheap is because it's manufactured in China, while many rivals make lower-quality chairs in the US and are forced to charge more. In general, this is a fantastic-looking, well-designed, and comfortable chair that will go with just about any patio or outdoor aesthetic! .
So those, unfortunately are the colours that generally tend to be most readily available.
Maria, you don’t have to answer to people who think they can question you on how you live your life. You’re obviously a mature and responsible woman, and can make your own decisions. Cheers to you for enjoying the outdoors with your family!
All screw holes should be pre-drilled for a couple reasons; to prevent splitting by drilling a pilot hole and to countersink sufficiently to accept a wood plug later. The plug not only helps the appearance of the chair, but will also add to the chair’s durability. We used a bit that drilled the hole and counterbored for the plug in the same operation.
There are different ways to waterproof Adirondack and other outdoor benches and furniture. Everyone uses a method that is convenient for them.
Much nicer, right? But it was like putting lipstick on a pig. Paint made them look pretty, but they were still wobbly and rickety. I think we got our money’s worth out of those crappy old Adirondack chairs and now its time for something a bit sturdier and better.

White would definitely NOT work here since there isn’t a stitch of white on the building. Black would work but it would be bleaker since the entire colour scheme could use a lot more life and contrast.
Yes, you can. Adirondack chairs are made to endure the elements. You can leave your chair outside at any time during the day, even if it is raining. Outside spaces can be enjoyed year-round if you choose proper outdoor furniture and Adirondack chairs are one of them.
Well, we’re here to break down the basics for you and then give you 10 options that could work for your home.
Made of Polywood recycled HDPE lumber that has the look of painted wood without the upkeep real wood requires. This chair requires no painting, staining, or waterproofing, entirely made for outdoor use.
When I think of large format tiles, I think of less grout to clean. I think there are some newer grouts that stain less, but still, cleaning grout is a pain, and that’s why I have zero tile in my home. LVT all the way with no grout lines. Showers are solid surface. I like my lower maintenance, easy cleaning home.

Cypress: This popular wood has a beautiful grain and natural oils that protect it from bug infestations, warping, and rotting. A white acrylic stain is often used on cypress Adirondack chairs.
The construction of this chair is totally heavy duty. The lumber used is resistant to wear, tear, and stains. The lumber is treated in such a way that you will never have to stain, waterproof, or paint this chair for it to retain its vibrant charm. This chair is made in the USA with awesome, high-quality, stainless steel hardware, and it is simple to assemble (some assembly is required, but it’s a manageable amount). The color will remain just as full as the day you purchase it, and the lumber also promises to remain intact– there is no need to worry about splintering, cracks, chips, or rotting, as this Adirondack has been built to keep all of these frequent annoyances from ever occurring.
