If your on the fence like I was because of the negative reviews don't be afraid to buy these. They may not be perfect, but they are a good value for a wood chair. 5.0 out of 5 stars Good chairs to paint. By M. Adams on December 2, 2015 Love these chairs! I bought two for my front porch remodel and I'm glad I picked these up despite the mixed reviews. I read several reviews before buying -thank you reviewers- and was concerned about the quality. I'm glad I decided to pick these up. For the $50 price these are a great deal. They are adorandak STYLED so don't expect a $300 lifetime quality chair. I shopped around and most chairs similar to these were in the $100 range at my local retail stores. I did note a few issues the other reviewers wrote about: .

The concave backrest has been designed especially to add to the comfort of this chair, and does a good job of doing so. Many other Adirondack chairs tend to have a flat back, which I’ve never complained about, but this gentle, comfortable curve definitely promises to win you over.

OK, some of you are certainly wondering, “What is it like working with Abram right there in The New Yankee Workshop?” So let’s get that part out of way. The most surprising thing was just how “Norm-al” it was, if you’ll pardon the pun.
The bathroom was wrapped in 12″ x 24″ grey tile. The reason most bathrooms have larger format tile is that it costs less to install them. It’s more expensive to install smaller scale tile, which is what belongs in a timeless bathroom.
Although Adirondack chairs are for comfortable seating and relaxing, they also help to straighten your back due to their unique design. The Adirondack chair backrest is straight, and the seating area is contour, which helps to align your back.
