While the first Adirondack chair was made of wood, many variations of it have been made since its invention. One these is the plastic Adirondack chair. While plastic outdoor furniture has traditionally been associated with being low-quality, that is far from being true for the Adirondack chairs featured here.

The materials used for this quality Adirondack chair are weatherproof, so you can leave it out all year long without having to worry about any damage from the changing seasons. The combination of this chair is done with the side table’s help, that both hands of the chair together. This table can be used to hold coffee or tea and gadgets for better comfortability. This side table can be detached so you can solely use a chair in some cases.
The seat height is another important feature to look at in terms of comfort level. This height should be high enough to support your legs and knees while still allowing your feet to touch the ground. If it is too high, your legs will dangle, putting too much pressure on the backs of your knees, which can get uncomfortable after a while. If it is too short, your legs won’t be touching the chair with your knees bent, losing that support. Of course, in this situation, you can extend your legs to get more comfortable, but this may make it harder to get up since you’ll need to use the arms for leverage instead of the seat to get yourself out of the chair.
So bad, right?! To get just a bit more use out of them I decided to paint them last Spring. Painting these wobbly old chairs gave them another season. This is what they looked like after paint: (you can find that project here: Painting Adirondack Chairs)

Wooden chairs can be hard on your backside. Cushions are usually sold separately, but they can make your Adirondack chairs much more comfortable. You’ll need to make sure the cushion fabric repels water and resists fading in sunlight. Cushions should be removed in the winter months if you plan to leave the chairs outside year-round.
