The style is characterized by flat wooden board armrests, a tall slatted back made of five to seven vertical wooden boards in a range of heights and a slanted seat that’s higher in the front than in the back. While the original style was wooden and meant for a single seated adult, these days Adirondack chairs come in a variety of sizes, materials and colors.

Well the only way I can teach how to do something right is if I show it done wrong. Thanks for your comment. Maria
Commonly used in building materials as porch and deck flooring, poly resin (CPVC) is a mixture of recycled wood pulp and resin. This material is environmentally friendly and basically indestructible. Color is blended through the material as part of the material creation process, so there is no risk of the color scraping off or anything. The material is designed to be out in virtually all weather and largely can handle snow without difficulty (we still recommend covering poly resin chairs in winter, though).
I will recommend always check with the manufactures specifications on whether or not if it’s weatherproof or not. However, if its real timber, yearly maintenance is usually required. This is achieved by applying an additional coating of varnish or paint to ensure the timber is not exposed to wet weather.
