One more thing to consider is whether or not the chair comes with a warranty. If a chair is not warranted by the manufacturer that doesn’t automatically make it a bad chair but having that warranty gives you peace of mind that you are buying a quality product.

Typically when you’re looking at patio furniture, you’re going to find countless resin or plastic options. Plastic chairs tend to be favorable because they are intended for seasonal use. When the chairs aren’t being used, they can easily be stored away. They’re easy to clean, and they’re durable.
Even if you don’t know them by name, we’ve all seen Adirondack chairs. They’re iconic American outdoor lounge chairs named after the Adirondack Mountains. The style is characterized by flat wooden board armrests, a tall slatted back made of five to seven vertical wooden boards in a range of heights and a slanted seat that’s higher in the front than in the back. While the original style was wooden and meant for a single seated adult, these days Adirondack chairs come in a variety of sizes, materials and colors.

The seat height is another important feature to look at in terms of comfort level. This height should be high enough to support your legs and knees while still allowing your feet to touch the ground. If it is too high, your legs will dangle, putting too much pressure on the backs of your knees, which can get uncomfortable after a while. If it is too short, your legs won’t be touching the chair with your knees bent, losing that support. Of course, in this situation, you can extend your legs to get more comfortable, but this may make it harder to get up since you’ll need to use the arms for leverage instead of the seat to get yourself out of the chair.

Gorilla Glue doesn't work. We have about 10 of these chairs with tables at our Lake house and they all eventually split, crack, etc. I tried every thing including Gorilla, Crazy, and any other glue, duct tape, etc. I now put a towel over chair to cover cracked part and "Forget about it". My husband saw the chairs for $12. at a local hardware store up at the lake house so when the towels wear out we will just spring for the new chair. Good luck and let me know if you have had any success with your repair efforts,
